A vibrant mixed-income community designed to connect people with different backgrounds, ages, and stages of life.
Our Vision
To create sustainable, equitable homeownership opportunities that include both affordable housing and housing for the “missing middle.”
The “Missing Middle”
The ‘missing middle’ represents the missing mixed-income housing options for people of varying backgrounds, ages and life stages.
The Collaboration
Made possible through a collaborative partnership between Hartford Homes, Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity, and the Odell family.
Weaving Together Generations for a Stronger Community
We believe that a community is not just about buildings and structures, but about the people who call it home. Our name represents the idea that every person is like a thread, and woven together we can create a place that is vibrant, diverse, and welcoming to all.
Tapestry Fort Collins will be located on the Southeast corner of Buckingham and 3rd Street, directly West of Colorado Iron and Metal and directly East of Buckingham neighborhood, past Tres Colonias.
We invite you to join us in creating a community that embodies the spirit of collaboration.
At Tapestry Fort Collins
you will find a community that celebrates the unique contributions and experiences of everyone.
Bridging the Gap: Filling the ‘Missing Middle’
Fort Collins, a city that boasts of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and a dynamic cultural scene, is a great place to live.
Unfortunately, there aren’t housing options available that meet the needs of everyone in our community.
We refer to this as the “missing middle,” and it’s not just affordable housing. It’s the missing mixed-income housing options for people of varying backgrounds, ages and life stages, from ambitious young professionals to growing families and seasoned retirees.
Made Possible through Partnership
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Odell family and their donation of the land, the significant development contributions of Hartford Homes, and the seamless partnership with Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity, this project is an example of what can be accomplished through collaboration and dedication.
We believe in creating more opportunities for access to adequate housing in Fort Collins.
Let the City of Fort Collins and your local council members know that you are in support of this project, and help us make housing a reality for more people in our community.
